The Core Facility Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is a fully equipped clinical research facility in terms of infrastructure and personnel to realise clinical studies in compliance with applicable national and international regulations. The CTU has particular expertise in the planning and conduction of phase I clinical trials meeting the highest quality and safety standards. In-house academic studies (so-called “Investigator-Initiated Studies) are carried out as well as studies sponsored by the (pharmaceutical) industry.
